1. Lights and Sound
2. Wooden bleachers where the band used to sit (not the current student seating) need to be replaced with blue seats
3. Concourse
4. Current student bleachers need to be replaced with new bleachers, preferably ones that CAN be pulled out all the way.

I disagree, if we are going to replace any seats in the "lower level" we need to replace the blue seats with bleachers, and update the remaining bleachers, open the lower area up to students and GA, and then build some luxury seating areas higher up on one side for the big donors where they can get their non-common folk food and alcohol.

I really appreciate the survey.

However, I would like to see a winning team on the court first followed by some parking improvements.

After those 2, lights & sound followed by the concessions.

it might be a while for those parking improvements if you want to see a winning team first...

And get the Band some bloody benches. Or platforms. There is not enough room up there right now. Platforms/benches make more noise, too.

(This is my humble opinion and in no way represents the view of the Mustang Band )

The band and students should be put wherever they can make the most noise. They provide the most atmosphere and we need to encourage them to be lively. Give them metal bleachers with loose fittings that they can rattle around!

Cameron does have bleachers, people just stand on them. They sit at half time.

Concourses definitely need to be widened. When people are in line at concession stands, virtually entire concourse is blocked. It is dark and cramped. Wider concourse would also allow for more, bigger, and better bathrooms. I don't think the concourses or the bathrooms are currently code-compliant and would have to be rennovated immediately upon making any structural changes to Moody because the grandfathering would be lost.

I personally don't have a problem with the lighting or the sound (except the sound that the marekting people choose to play, when they play it, and the new announcer who I don't really love). In fact, there should be little need for "sound" in Moody other than the sound of the people making noise themselves.

As for replacing seating, I would replace the blue seating with good bleachers, not the other way around. The student bleachers do need to be modified to allow for them to be fully pulled out. And smu diamond m needs a little reality check about the space needed for the band. In my opinion, the band needs less space, not more, so it looks like a more cohesive unit instead of spreading out all over the place. Most college bands fit in an even smaller space and manage to do fine. It's okay to have to stand close together (although I don't like the change that Duke made by putting blue-type seats for visiting VIPs next to the band, cramming the band into the corner of the baseline seating so that the band can no longer influence free throws the way they (meaning I) used to).

I dont mean enough room to spread out, I mean enough to set my stand up in a place where I can see it, and be able to put my horn where I don't have to worry about it getting banged up. That was a problem with the benches on the other end, not very stable, horns got knocked over a lot. I agree that we should be packed at least some what close. I think it would be great if we had the current section we have WITHOUT the blue chairs. It would free up SO MUCH room. Wouldn't be spreading out, now would it? But thanks for "reality checking" me.

Not to nit-pick because it is clear that the band is positioned awkwardly around the seats and walkway, but having a place to set your horn really shouldn't be an issue if you are standing there the whole game. Maybe you can set it down to pee if you clear some space currently taken up by cymbol-smashers and that xylophone/bells player

If I held it all game, I couldn't throw my arms around.

Are the rest of the alumni police going to come after me too?

If I couldn't flail my arms around, you shouldn't be allowed to either, youngster. Everything was better in my day, you suck, we didn't do it that way. Your wants are always irrelevant, and your opinions are only valid if you were in a Dreibrodt band, etc. etc.
