i thought it was this guy

I say we call #24 Shorty Walker above from Winona High. He's obviously got wheels and is about to pop the ball out for a turnover and obvious TD return. Hey, 5 foot 4 is football's new 5 foot 8.

You're Welcome. And for the record, as a general rule, I want all incoming Freshmen to get a Redshirt year, though I can't imagine that it'll pan out that way this coming season.

Ellison is supposed to play LB, right?

Drewery slid somewhat under the radar - hard to believe for a guy who looks and runs like he does. I heard somewhere that he took a postgraduate year (can anyone confirm?), and that many colleges assumed he had landed elsewhere because of that. My vote for biggest immediate impact is Alex Odiari.

I searched the internet for Drewery. I didn't find a definite post-graduate year. What I found is that originally he went to Atlantic Shores, a private school but then transferred to an apparently big-time school which I believe was called Oscar Smith. He didn't get much action at Oscar Smith-although I think an injury may have been involved. So he transferred back to Atlantic Shores and had a big senior year starting from Game 1-where he dominated. He could have been lost in the shuffle-it happens. I'll take sleepers with his physical skills. I'm still a tad leary of the competition-did this private school play at a Cistercian level, a St. Marks Level, or at a Jesuit level? Could make a big difference.

That's true, but if he's 6-6 and runs a 4.5, I'm going to guess he can be taught with proper coaching. Besides, if he caught 57 passes for more than 1,700 yards, as advertised, it's not like he has to be taught how to simply make a reception. He's got at least a moderate start toward being a productive player.

Someone pre-signing day gave a good run down on his school's competition...I couldn't find it yesterday but I'd appreciate it if Stallion would find it for us :)

6-6 4.5 is good enough for me.
