Espn was talking about Bobby KNight going back to IU.... just speculation, but can you imagine what IU would have to do to even get him on the phone?!

Might not be as difficult as one would imagine. According to DMN, the entire administration has turned over, so Knight might not have the same barriers as a few years ago.

Did he talk about how he quit on his team? One of his now former players at Tech should have choked him or thrown a chair across the court in disgust. Then again, I guess coaches like him only have to talk the talk, and not walk the walk.

I will only question Knight's motives if, AND ONLY IF, he actually goes to IU. If he stays retired, I can at least play ignorant and not speculate.

He should have waited until the end of the season to step down.

Obviously, he was trying to give his kid momentum to take over for next year. Given this, it will be interesting to son how the team responds for the remainder of this year and, also, to see how it goes next year.

If he has an illness, then I will take back every negative thing I said about him stepping down. Let's just say that I am skeptical that was the reason. The President of the University that had the agreement with Knight that his son would take over the team when he retired, just happened to tender his resignation the Friday before Knight stepped down.

What's worse: What Knight did or what Kelvin Sampson is accused of doing?

That depends. I'm gonna go with Sampson being the evil one here.

I don't think Knight could go to IU this year. He still has a contract with TT even if he quit. So, he'd have to first get released from the TT contract which ain't gonna happen.

Don't call him "Knight" unless you want your nose broken and your shirt ripped off. It just doesn't give him the respect that he thinks he deserves to call him by his last name.
