19-11 ponies, 11:35 left in the first. The refs are already being stupid, but when arent they?

largest lead I've ever seen in person... Ladies win by fifty or so... At the end of the game, it was entertaining to watch mempho keep screwing up.

Just got home a little while ago.
WOW.
What a complete whipping. We beat Memphis in every phase of the game, and it was punishing. DWills was awesome. Cobb ran the break. Haley Day crashed the boards and scored. Severin didn't miss much, if at all. Elbie Gates was all over the place.
Keep it up in Birmingham, ladies!

There's a 3-way tie for second in CUSA between SMU, UAB and Houston at 8-3. Sunday in Birmingham really tells a lot about this season. Win this one and it really puts us in the driver's seat for the No. 2 seed with Rice and Houston coming to Moody next week.
Good luck, ladies!

As much as I want the first day off in Orlando, I want the numero uno/dos more. Good momentum going into the conf. tourney, and then good momentum going to the regional.

First four seeds get a first-round bye.
We have a tie-breaker over Houston after smacking them around last weekend. Sunday in Birmingham would be an awesome win.
UAB won last night, but it was on the road (Tulsa) and went to double-overtime - hope they're exhausted.

You're so right about Tulsa. The loss to them at home hurt the most but I think the team gained some ground with four road wins in a row. A win over UAB is critical if they want that number two spot.
A side-bar vent - I sure wish the Dallas Morning News would give the team a little bit of attention. I think Kate's written about five articles on the team the entire year. Irritating.

I doubt the team has a shot at an at large bid because of those 2 laughable losses to Tulsa. They pain me, but it doesn't matter because we're winning the conference tourney... REGIONALS HERE I COME

I agree. I think we would have to win out the regular season (including at UTEP) and make it to the tourney final for an at large chance. We need to just plan on winning the tournament. And hope Tulsa loses their first round game.
