Not that it is any of your damn business Pal, but I shell out plenty of bucks for SMU Athletics. I just have to prioritize where my limited resources go and I choose the Mustang Club and Season Tickets over a spot on The Boulevard. That does not preclude me from having an opinion on the subject of The Boulevard. Get over yourself.

Amen PK, some of the people on this board need a dose of reality as well as a little maturity.

regis wrote:So they had these new Football Season Ticket Brochures available at Moody tonight. It was new because they had now provided the parking prices for the Boulevard. To my chagrin, they are up again across the board to the tune of about 25%.
The same South Boulevard spot that cost us $80 a season for the first 7 years will cost $600 next season. That's up from $480 last year.
The North Boulevard tents are being prices at upwards of $850.
How can they possibly justify another increase after the 600% increase of a year ago, especially after the 1-11 season and a Boulevard attendance rate of maybe 75%????? This is an outrage!
It doesn't seem like good business to me to gouge your loyal customers year after year after year. We've had the same spot and same season tickets since the stadium opened. Where's the loyalty to me?
Maybe they should worry about getting people to the game before they jack up the price on those who have coming to the games for so many years.
Sorry for the rant, but this is Peruna Excrement!!!!
One thing is for sure. My Mustang Club donation will decrease by at least the amount of the parking increase. I challenge all other Boulevard spot holders to do the same.
Did you guys not hear, SMU hired Jerry Jones so he could show them how to increase revenue

Typical SMU chat room talk....everyone fighting about nothing. Remember guys....we are on the same team. Higher prices or not....Billy Joe will be getting drunk off his rear on the blvd. on his homemade moonshine.....and no campus police officer will tell Billy Joe when he has had enough moonshine. Billy Joe stops drinking when he wants to....next season should be great. Pony Up!!!!!

re: "Typical SMU chat room talk....everyone fighting about nothing"
True.
It is too bad that so many are so prone to go negative. I suppose it's just their nature or maybe some of them are trolls.
Earlier we have a post about the wonderful Junes Jones book. It's a positive book about our new coach.
Then someone feels they must bring up a different book, yeah bring up something negative. Bring up the book about the SMU scandal.
Hey we can't have a positive thread.
Bingo a thread about the new positive June Jones book turns into a thread about the book "A Payroll to Meet".
Now we have a thread where a player's parent asks about the blvd. Someone posts some great pics showing the player's parent what the blvd is. It's all positive.
Then this PK starts nit-picking about how the blvd is referred to. Whether it is the blvd or the smu blvd. So all the great vibes from the pictures of the blvd turns into something negative about the anal name of the blvd.
thanks for the great pictures of our blvd, no thanks for the nit-picking.

I chalk all of the negative comments up to the number of lawers that we have on ponyfans. But most of the times I just laugh at how serious people take there self's.
