Consider yourself lucky. Our guys look like this is the first day of practice. I know we have a bad matchup against UH, but we look just plain pitiful.

Nothing's really changed. They killed us from the 3s the first time and again tonight. Going into the final media timeout, they have made 22 FGs, 18 are 3s and have taken 48 shots, 39 3s. That's not basketball. That's like a 3-point shooting contest.

What is it about our 3 point defense that UH just loves. I know we've been a bad 3-point defense but this is ridiculous. Must be a mental thing.

I'm a little more concerned about our "up tempo, Phoenix Suns-style" offense, that will be held under 50 points again tonight. This time by a team that obviously wants to turn every game into a track meet, but we refused to push the pace.

You beat me to it. Killen scored a total of 8 points against UH, when you combine BOTH games.

Well, I hope you guys weren't expecting Killen to be a scoring machine. Even with his performance against UCF, he's just a below average DI college basketball who will graduate from this school and be successful in life.

He is what he is. Great kid. Not a great college basketball player.

You were on acid partner. The Ladies were attempting to fly to Alabama, not Houston, and they never made it out. I just got an email from one of the players, their flight was cancelled because of the storm, and they wont get out until tomorrow morning, and the game itself wont be played until tomorrow evening at 7, instead of 2 in the afternoon.

Oops, lol. I just assumed... Well, its obvious what happened. Total brain fart

You hope WE werent expecting.........................

The guy who hyped Mike Walker like his last name was actually Jordan, and started this season with "In Doh We Trust", etc., etc., blah, blah. blah, is lecturing other people about expectations now? That one's really rich. If I sort through your posts, just going back a few months, what will I find you predicting for this season?

You hope WE werent expecting? Stick it, pal. I was talking about our style of play, not the individual players. I never mentioned Killen, and frankly after having watched the kid for years I think I know his game a little better than you. If I go looking, how many posts will I find declaring that Walker would come right in and take over the point guard spot and Killen wouldnt see playing time this year, because he just wasnt good enough? The same kid that's been our leading scorer for almost the entire season.

For the record, I predcted 16-15 and something like 5-11 or 6-10 in CUSA and out in the first round of the tournament. And I'm sure you were like me thinking non-conference play would be far better than it was.

This was not a shot at you and the whole Killen thing. I just made an observation. If you want to go to war over this, you're going alone.

And yes, I thought Walker would be better than he has been. So I missed on him. Sue me. I'm just glad you're evaluation of every player who ever signed with us has been 100% and I'm glad you're sitting in that arm chair ALWAYS knowing better.

How 'bout this analysis. This season blows.

Appreciate you. Appreciate you.

what the hell was the final score? 41-18 at halftime. Are you kidding me? nevermind, the halftime score is more meaningful because the only thing the rest of the game was, was garbage time.

Of course not you nit wit - not against Houston - second best team in the conference.

Anyone who can see the guys on the court and the ones on the bench and not see that this program is on its way up does not know much about basketball. Anyone who thought it would happen year one is also a ninny.

Trying to run with these guys would have been way worse.

oh, so we are gelling? This is gelling huh? Houston is not that good, don't kid yourself. we are a horrible basketball team and if you are excited or even satisfied about how we are playing on Feb 17, you're the nitwit. the freshmen are not where they need to be if this program was on its way up anytime soon. the fact is i am not surprised because i saw this for what it was in November. tell us gostang, you basketball genius, what should the expectations be and when will this team be challenging for a postseason run? 2010? 2011? ever? you really look at this and see anything beyond a middle of the pack CUSA also ran? thats when it matures.
