That argument won't wash here. If he was as good as the "experts" thought, then his talent would have overtaken Matt Flynn, especially when Flynn got hurt this year. Perrilloux had some chances to make an impression during the season. He flat out blew it. He became unreliable.
I don't give a damn what your talent is. When you're a leader and clown around like this by not going to class, attending meetings and going to weight workouts, you give no one a reason to believe in you and to trust you.
The kid has been on that campus for 2-3 seasons. The LSU staff probably knows enough to know what a melonhead he is.
