SMU: Matt Doherty Show on FSN

Postby mustangxc » Thu Feb 21, 2008 3:42 pm

Just saw the SMU-Coach Doh show on FSN and as bad as things may be on the inside, the show made SMU look good! I realize that for those of you in Dallas and attending games the losses are that much more painful, but looking from a distance the program appears on the rise. I realize that things are bleak and am not hear to argue over the current season. I merely share this because I think on the outside SMU looks to be on the upswing and this can only help make recruiting and subsequently winning easier.

I hope you are not being sarcastic, but I don't think FSN has an HD version at this point do they?

Well, if you go in the Crum Center, you'll know why it will be easier to sell. If Doherty can't sell this place, no one can. Think Taj Mahal.

Anyone know if this will be up online anywhere? I continue to kick myself for not having a DVR.

What are you talking about? Doherty could sell before we had the Crum Center. He and Coach Rompola already have good players coming next year, and that will improve next year and in the years ahead.

Considering my low expectations of SMU media product, I was very impressed with the quality of the show!

Just wish they'd get rid of the annoying voiceover guy.
