Trey Griffin Update
I posted this on the recruiting board, but we thought it was probably better suited for the football forum upon further review. We just thought we'd pass along that Trey successfully defended his Texas Relays HS Boys 100m title against some stiff competition from sprinters from Texas, Louisiana and Florida. Trey also looks like he has been hard at work in the gym.

Re: Trey Griffin Update
Thanks for the update. Glad to hear he is spending some time in the gym working out. We need a lot of self motivated players like that.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
Re: Trey Griffin Update
And with Comet and Freeman out of Saturday's scrimmage, it's clear we need more depth at the wide receiver spots. Cardwell looked OK, McDearman looked really good. But it would be nice if Griffin, Jay Taylor and Cedric Vinson all come in ready to contribute next fall. We certainly can use them.
"What kind of weirdo school are they running over there in Fort Worth?"
