I had a pleasant season ticket buying experience

Postby Pony81 » Mon Feb 25, 2008 10:13 pm

I called SMU ticket office on Friday afternoon after 5PM and received a recording. I left my name and number in the general mail box.

Based on prior experience, I was expecting to not hear from them.

To my shock, I was call on Saturday morning by Randall Holmes. I was greeted by a pleasant young man, who was informative, professional, and enthusiastic about SMU.

Needless to say I purchased 4 season tickets in premium locations. I hung up the phone and thought that SMU is bringing a new attitude to all facets of the organization.

That's great to hear. I'm glad the university is getting it right.

$150 for most sideline tickets, and that includes a $30 donation to the Mustang Club.

I also dealt with Randell. I can also highly recommend him. He provided excellent service.

My Mom (class of 56) had never gotten a season ticket mailer until this year. She really liked it, of course she couldn't go to all the games because of her health, but she liked the effort to be included. It seems like SMU is really putting a strong push on to sell the place out. Sounds like you guys are doing it right.
