Yes she is. She seems to really be enjoying working in the ticket office...a vast improvement over previous staff there.

Haven't gotten season tickets for football, but when I purchased them for bball the staff was very helpful and motivated even at my puny proletariat spending level.
I was very surprised by the professionalism.

I never had a problem with the previous staff. They always helped and did what they could. Maybe with all the money being thrown around the new staff is able to do things that the old staff couldn't do.

Your right. The new staff seems to be a little more professional and perhaps that is the difference. In previous years the staff was mostly students I think. I'm not sure that is the case any more.

Hopefully the performance of our football and mens basketball teams will start being more like "Top 25" programs!

Okay, point of clarification for all idiots who just don't get it--I really think Orsini has done a pretty good job. The mob boss, to borrow a great phrase, is doing well, and this hero does not want to take his place.

I also had a great experience buying tickets from Randell Holmes. He was very personable.

This is the first year I got a handwritten card thanking me for my renewal of tickets.

It doesn't really matter who it's from, either. If they're smart they just give 5 cards to everybody in the department and tell them to write them to these people.

As someone who has had miserable dealings with the ticket office for more than 20 years, it's damn refreshing to hear people praise the ticket office.
As I've said about all things related to SMU athletics, it's not about policies, it's about people. Looks like they've finally got some good people at their No. 1 point of contact with the public - ticket sales.
And as someone who has never hesitated to be critical of SMU when it's been warranted, I tip my hat to the athletic dept. for getting something right.

I went in a month ago to buy season football tickets and dealt with Terry Hemme. I couldn't decide exactly where I wanted them so Terry took me and my two sons to the stadium and we looked at each location we were interested in to see the view, access etc. It was a great experience and I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with. I wound up buying 4 tickets in section 203 and look forward to meeting some of you guys to put faces to names. Even you JT. Might have an extra ticket sometimes so I can give Mrydel's lap some relief.
