History repeats?

The last time the Mustangs beat Rice in Houston, was the season opener in 1986. I watched the Stangs plucked the fiesty nightbirds 45-3, it's time for history to repeat. The is a big risk-reward game, but the reward is HUGE if we win........
National TV, and it's the only game on that night.
Win a road game.
1-0 in CUSA.
Get that 1986 monkey off our back.
JJ's first game.
1-0 for the home opener.
Lots of chips on the table folks.......let's go get it!

there would be nothing more great and better for this team to put up a W in that game. season opening win with JJ as coach and on the road. would set the tone for this season

I remember that we had a really nice turnout for the tailgate at Rice last time we played there. Since my pee wee football season starts the next week I might see if my team is up for a road trip and we can break out the RV again. Should be a good place to try out the new portable cooling fans I am adding to the tailgate package we have.
