82-54 final. That is absolutely brutal. ECU is a very bad team. They had lost their last two games by 35 (UCF) and 29 (UTEP). Does this team have any heart?

Jon Killen does. Its hard to question his effort and commitment after what i have seen from him this year. And while I do understand questioning the teams heart, I dont think the rest of the guys are heartless/prideless either. I'm more worried that its a lack of team confidence and motivation tied to the not having the collective talent to compete. there appears to be a lack of 'hope' on the team. thats different than a team that has quit, and in some ways its worse in a young group. You are seeing a beaten down team. No other way to explain good kids performing so listlessly.

I didn't see this game, but saw the UAB game and thought they looked pretty good until the last 5 minutes. Thought we were improving... hard to believe we could lose like this.

His Kenyan blood will give him natural running talent, not basketball talent.

Absolutely agree with you on Killen. Harp also seems to bust his tail for every minute he is in the game. Both of those guys stand out to me as players that give it everything they have.
I feel similarly about the "hope" thing, although I am not sure to what extent. I feel like they go into games with the expectation of losing. Even the games they have really fought and competed, victory was taken away in the final seconds. You cannot win without having an expecatation to do so, which creates winning culture. The guys need to keep their heads up and fight every game.
