We Arkansans actually have between 27 and 25 fingers and toes at birth but usually cut several off skinning squirrels for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. We stop hunting when we get down to 20 and start fishing for carp.

As a side note, referencing my earlier remarks, we are smart enough not to skin the squirrels while we are nekked (Arkansas spelling).
