Ask and yee shall receive. We just lost the player that accounted for 57 TD's over the past 2 seasons. Does that meet the needs of your request?

Nope. Just yet another joke on SMU's "fan base".

Hey !! What happened to IJJWT?? The Ponies will win next season. Did none of you sense that JJ did not envision JWILL as his future QB? Yes, we will probably start the season with an inexperienced QB as well as inexperience at numerous other positions. However, never underestimate the heart of 'inexperienced champions'!! Sorry Rudy- just had to change your quote slightly to fit our situation.
GO PONIES!!! WE WILL WIN NEXT SEASON!!!!!

that's easy for you to say from Lima Peru- Machu Picchu Pony. Have you ever heard of Don Quixote?
DON QUIXOTE
It is the mission of each true knight...
His duty... nay, his privilege!
To dream the impossible dream,
To fight the unbeatable foe,
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go;
To right the unrightable wrong.
To love, pure and chaste, from afar,
To try, when your arms are too weary,
To reach the unreachable star!
This is my Quest to follow that star,
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far,
To fight for the right
Without question or pause,
To be willing to march into hell
For a heavenly cause!
And I know, if I'll only be true
To this glorious Quest,
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest.
And the world will be better for this,
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove, with his last ounce of courage,
To reach the unreachable stars!

Apparently someone called down a curse on SMU at some point. Anyone live near Savannah? Can we get the lady from Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil to fix this?

I was thinking the voodoo lady, but if you can think of a way for the tranny to fix this, more power to you.

They've done all the "fixing" they can.

Hey Stallion- like the new handle ' Machu Picchu Pony". Thanks for the idea. BTW- M.P is one of the 'new 7 wonders of the world". Just maybe JJ can make this years Ponies the 8th. Why must you be the leader of 'those with little faith'? I am not euphoric about next seasons potential but I am a believer that JJ will bring us some victories and I remain positive about the future of Pony football in the years to come. If I were a new QB coming into SMU with that position totally open you can not imagine how excited I would be. Desire can overcome a lot of other shortcomings.
GO PONIES!!!!

I think you ought to go with Don Quixote Pony-that song describes SMU fans better than anything I know. A "MUST READ" for every SMU Cheerleader. Maybe this is why Captain Abandon the Ship calls me the Keeper of the Star. Damn if I've ever known what the hell he is talking about.

OK, Stallion. I will make you a small friendly wager. By mid-season I say we will have won at least 2 games. If I lose I will bring you a box of good Cuban cigars- If I win you buy dinner at Capitol Grill or one of the other good steak places. Are you game or not? I plan on coming to a couple of games this year. See at the Ponies victory party.
GO PONIES!!!
