Which of the recruits will be competing for a starting spot, not just a regular one, as soon as they step on campus for 2 a DAYS?

I would have said NONE would have a real shot to start last week. Obviously, QB is now up in the air. I'm sure a few will contribute at skill positions but for the most part I think few of these freshman are polished or ready for Division 1A Football-and several who might contribute early are moving to new positions. Perhaps Victor Jones depending on who is moved to LB or Chris Banjo because we are weak in the secondary. On offense, I wouldn't be surprised to see Cole Loftin compete for playing time partly because Givens is gone and there will be 4 instead of 3 receivers in the Run and Shoot.

obviously Deyon McElroy and Alex Odiari have the best chances of moving right into starting roles.

I think they are going to need al available receivers in this offense. If anyone has a chance as a freshman starter, it will be at receiver.

Looking at his bio, his potential for figuring into the receiver appears high. We'll see how hard they work between now and August. The proof will be in how well a shape they show up come August two a days.
