CSC will kill the student section at the Memphis Game

Multiple complaints against CSC have been received by the AD's office so hopefully something will be done about them. Now its up to you guys to be there and be loud. Pony Up.

Hope they do. At EVERY SMU game, I see the same CSC lady as I go down to my seats. EVERY time, she asks to see my tickets. On the other hand, same thing happens at every Mavs game. The lady there says "no it only takes a couple of weeks...after I know your face you don't have to show me...go on down"

almost doesn't really matter what csc does since the students don't turn out to the games.....horrible showing last Saturday...

A few taunts to some of the Memphis players asking if they are going to graduate might get some reaction. I know that Doh had to put up with a lot of stuff when his Carolina teams went to Duke or Maryland or when Notre Dame went to Syracuse and Villanova. So, he'd probably love to create a little bit of that atmosphere on the Hilltop. On the other hand, it may be that because our team isn't that good, that the powers that be don't want us being too hostile until we have the players to back it up. Otherwise, you end up with the other team getting pumped and steamrollering your team on your court. Sometimes it better not to poke a sleeping giant in the eye. Oh one final note, when the toad at CSC comes to make trouble, just have the whole section yell, "Bilbo Baggins". or "Get a real job".

Do you have a personal vendetta against fraternities? Every single game it is frats didn't do this or that..it's getting ridiculous. I am in a fraternity and every other person I was sitting around in the student section behind the UTEP bench was in fraternities (5 in all) Fraternity guys were sitting behind the basket, i mean come on man. Why don't you call out the freshmen or anyone else in the student body? Let's unite and stop criticizing, i will be there at 5:00 tomorrow if you want to say something to me personally..leather jacket

first off, im not going to look for the guy in the leather jacket at 5:00 to talk face to face. i have nothing to say to him. with that being said,

i dont have anything against the frats. i just want them to show up to more games and support the team. going to the game your frat sponsors is nothing special if you were forced to go. i single out greeks because they are the social leaders of the university and i feel that its their duty to at least set an example for the rest of the school. i think if more fraternities and sororities attend the games in masses, it would create a more fun atmosphere that would attract even more students.

sorry if i offended anybody's fraternity, but i have not said anything about a specific one. i just want to see more interest in all our games. i grew up going to a big basketball/football school's games with 5-8k students per game. its depressing to see 40 students cheering for a half only to leave at halftime. im not saying i expect every student and frat at every game, but i dont think its unrealistic to expect a full student section behind the bench. especially when student admission is FREE

You can't call out freshmen because when they do some to games they don't do so all wearing the same shirt that says "freshman" across the front.

The frats make themselves visible, therefore they are fair game. Stop taking it personally.
