Women vs Tulsa 12 Noon, Friday

Postby White Helmet » Thu Mar 06, 2008 3:04 pm

Women get Tulsa who rolled Memphis 85-63. Hopefully we wont see a repeat of the last 2 Tulsa games. This team is too talented and too well coached to lose to a team like that 3 times... I hope. Good luck ladies.

I knew this was going to happen. They better play with a mission. And if it's tight, they better execute in the last 4 minutes, something they didn't do against Tulsa both times, UTEP here and arguably there and at Tulane.

They control their destiny. They better get it done.

Tulsa is not a good matchup for us - their two posts (Williams and Johnson) give us fits - but we're winning this one. It undoubtedly won't be pretty, but we're winning this one.

Everyone in Dallas should know that it is impossible to beat a team three times in one season. I think... :?

Then we should just breeze through the men's tourney.

Except for those pesky teams we only played once in the regular season and the ones we actually beat.

I was talking to Tulsa's coach after the game at Moody and made the same remark - their inside game really took it to us. She surprised me by saying that she thought the game was won due to the guard play. Interesting observation.

Good luck ladies!

Don't care if it's pretty. I just want us to have one more point than those clowns have. We're a better team, and I hope it shows tomorrow.
