My brother is in town from LA this weekend. In the first 10 minutes of conversation, he brought up how impressed he was with the hire. The new just hasn't worn off.

It's not just June Jones. It is also who and what he brings with him.
The coaches that he surrounds himself with are what will make him, and the team. He brings an incredible group of coaches with him as well.

And, as best I can tell, he isn't related to any of them.

The wife and I had dinner with some friends and part of the conversation was about June Jones. How he could recruit, score points and that SMU had finally stopped trying to play football " On the CHEAP "
I am pumped.
and not on the treadmill.

I was wondering when someone would mention that. Every part of that promo pack was well done...except for the "statement" allegedly by JJ. It says something to the effect of "maybe you heard about all the stuff we did out there on the big island..." Obviously JJ didn't proofread what they wrote for the promo, b/c the only thing JJ has been doing on the 'big island' is getting R&R when the football season is over. UH is on Oahu.

It was well done except they did not put the schedule or dates of any of the games. Didn't know what you were paying for.

Minor detail. Block out every Saturday between September and December.
Then clear your entire mid-late december schedule...might even want to clear out january 5th just in case.

The conference schedule didn't come out until last week, and that promo piece was done before that. I know that for sure, because I saw the promo piece for the first time at one of the home basketball games in early February.
