Andrew Mckinney=blocking

Postby jimhagle » Sat Mar 08, 2008 2:01 pm

It seems the main reason he is moving to the backfield is to block the guys who constantly get through the line. Size does and will matter then.

Brains matter also. Have you ever wondered why he never excelled at any position except KO? The other coaches knew he never could figure out what he was supposed to do so he was a constant liability on the field. Wake up people...

It doesn't take too much smarts to lineup in the backfield and pick up rushers does it?

It doesn't take much smarts to post anything on PonyFans either.

Brains does not really matter if you live in Birmingham Alabama. A 40 watt light bulb seems pretty bright around there.

I get a little testy when it comes to low blows on the boys. Andrew deserves better than that.
By the way, I'm not his dad.

I must respectfully disagree. This language is very difficult.

I propose a Man Law. If you're going to attack someone personally like that, add your name to the post.

I am going to have to agree for the most part. As much crap as we give the coaches they want to win and put the best players on the field. We all have these visions of graneur with some guy trying [deleted] KO team and if we could just plug him in to the back field he would have 3000 yards rushing. It doesn't work like that. No matter how strong and fast Andrew is players on the other side of the ball are just as strong and fast if not more so. Then it comes down to talent and the talent around you where we have fallen short in the past. I hope, for Andrew and SMU, that he has a great year but I am always skeptical in these circumstances.

I agree with the man law post when talking about players.

I still prefer not to take shots at our players, that are out there busting there butts, working hard doing their best to win a position, and we make side bar comments about their intelligence. Low blow!

The only thing about the original post is the author jimhagle, is probably Jim Hagle. Concerning the man law, he's probably already stepped to the plate.
