I heard that they're going to rename the facility Gygax Court, in honor of the dude that created Dungeons and Dragons.

Happy for the boys to get win No. 10. It's been a tough season. And for what it's worth, one more conference win this year than last year. I realize it's Rice, but so what, we beat. Remember, we lost both to them last year.

And great to see Papa Dia have 20 and 11.

Any idea who we get in the first round Wednesday?

UT, I get that...a$M, ok, makes sense...tcu, ok...UH, I can see that...but, Rice??!? Please entertain me, I mean educate me, please..thanks. Long Live Phillip Wood.

Because they are one of our longtime rivals? Is that too obvious an answer for you? I hate Rice too.
Brother FtoT: Sorry for the delayed response. As PerunaPower stated, it's because Rice is a former SWC opponent who remains in C-USA with SMU and the Mustangs have had a very difficult time beating the Owls in football for a loooong time; the Owls kept the Mustangs from getting to a bowl game in 2006; and I dislike any school that SMU puts on its schedule (except for one)...especially the ones that were in the old SWC with the Mustangs.

I'd love to see Rice get really good in bball and football, top 25 good, just to have their hopes and dreams crushed brutally by the ponies every year!

On a related note, their stadium is one of the best places anywhere to watch a football game. (except when sitting on the wood benches)

In general, it is better to be sitting on the wood benches than to have them collapse.

Or, in some cases, "accidental" collaspes.
