I'm guessing Hughes has never heard that rule. Or maybe she just didn't listen, and walked away.

Also, if you saw warmups, she didn't wear the team warmups. She just came out in a white t-shirt and did her own thing. I wonder if the coach has tried to get her to be part of the team or if she doesn't care as long as she plays well.

Absolutely doesn't care, or maybe is scared of her. When UTEP was in Moody, she did that with the white t-shirt. A selfish look-at-me move, but that's her act, so why change it if they're winning, right?

Then they start with the player introductions. All of the players come out either in warm-ups or in their uniforms. She comes out in her game shorts with a white tank top - no warm-up, no jersey. She comes back to the bench and holds her arms up in the air, and an assistant coach puts her jersey on her, like he's placing a robe on a member of the royal family. It would have been one thing if she had worked up that act with one of her teammates, but a coach? "Coach, I'm more important than the rest of the players here, and frankly, I can get you fired by threatening to transfer, so here's what I need you to do."

Absolutely disgusting.

More good news. 3 of UTEP's starters and two of their three regular subs are seniors. They will return Hughes, one other starter (Timika Williams #30), and one bench player (Brittnay Jones #33) with actual game experience. Hughes will have a much tougher time next year without Lacy and Piekarska.
