Sorry, guys. I had to turn it off shortly after I started the thread. Work intervened. What I heard at the beginning was more, "Why did you leave Hawaii?" talk since Bob and Dan hadn't had him on. They did revisit Bob's line from December: "SMU is interested in June Jones; Well, duh. I guess they are interested in Bill Belechek, too."

They had Coach Jones on because they were at the SMU athletic forum with Charles Barkley. They always do shows from the athletic forum and the speaker always comes on the air. They had Barkley on and then June Jones. I assume Jones was there for the athletic forum.

I'll pick up where blog left off.

Sturm: the run n shoot, huh? I think a lot of colleges run it the wrong way. Colt can't run it the way Vince did (well at least the spread)
JJ: Same thing happened with the I back in the day, some good some sucked
Sturm: Yeah I guess
JJ: Look at the Patriots. Look at the Colts. 3, 4, 5 wide.
JJ: We run a bubble screen for 4 yards and we're pissed. People run a dive and get 4 yards and they're happy.
Dan: oooh
Bob: Well, SMU talk, on the Ticket!
Bob: So it really sucked at Hawaii huh?
JJ: [same thing he said every other time he was asked]
Dan: yeah, and SMU really has the money!
JJ: I'm going on record to say we'll break some school records here. We broke 400 of them at Hawaii, and some NCAA records too.
