Discover why Lafayette – West Lafayette is the best choice for family fun and adventure.
With a water park and zoo located within feet of each other, a hands-on museum just for kids, a fire station museum and famed Wolf Park, Lafayette – West Lafayette, Indiana has a number of family attractions to explore. There's also Indiana's newest State Park, Prophetstown as well as Historic Prophetstown where you'll have the chance to meet farm animals and maybe even milk a cow!

The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

The Tippecanoe battlefield is also nearby. But in a "metro" area this size (Lafayette and West Lafayette together are almost half the size of Plano) there may not be much more than a movie theater and a few bars. But so what? The real reason to go is to watch the games!
After a quick geography lesson, I have decided I'm going to drive up. I drive to Dayton several times a year, anyway, and this looks like just a minor detour.

When I went to South Bend last April (mid-April at that), it was in the upper-20s and snowing.

I guess I can't wear to the airport what I'm wearing today... flipflops, shorts, and a button-up.
Well, I could...

If I could have found something to do in Iowa City back in '96 then you can find something to do in West Lafayette in '08.
