HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
They didn't deserve to go. Justice was served. Those commercials they run on their flagship radio station always make me want to drive into a tree, and hearing the idiots in this town talk about them like they're the Vols or Terps or LSU is beyond annoying. Their coach isn't that good, and their talent is leaving. Lacy transferred to UTEP, and now that Ross kid is graduating. Back to reality, Frogs.
But be sure to watch us on TV in the NCAA TOURNAMENT this weekend!

Thank you!
Ah, but that's where you have to use the logic:
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Those of us with a team going to the NCAA care!
(To be fair, most of the Froggy fans who come on here - ReedFrawg, etc. - are incredibly classy and respectful on our site. But I still love it that we're in and they're not... Good luck next year.)

I think we're seeing the effect of Mountain West membership on TCU's basketball programs. All the travel, lack of any true rivalries, etc. takes a toll in a sport like basketball.
Remember when SMU was in the WAC and there was such a bias against the Texas schools? Try being the only Texas school in what essentially is the WAC made over. It's just not a good fit, and now that it's much easier for a non-BCS team to qualify for a BCS bowl, I don't see the benefit of MWC membership for TCU.
Maybe they make a little more TV money, for now, but the drain on their travel budget, long road trips and the lack of natural rivlaries to stir fan interest outweighs whatever benefit MWC offers.
I'd love to see TCU find a way to get back into C-USA. In the long run, it would help both parties.
