Charlie Creme's take
Who's Hot: No. 2 seed Texas A&M. The Aggies did not win the Big 12 regular-season title, but they ... (yawn).
No. 12 seed SMU. The balanced Mustangs did something no one else in Conference USA could do -- beat UTEP. That got them here and gave SMU confidence it didn't have two weeks ago.

I do too. I predicted that they were a sweet 16 team at the beginning of the season. We can definitely beat Notre Dame and Oklahoma. I look forward to seeing SMU fans in Ok City. Go Stangs!!

I don't look forward to going to OKC, but it should be bearable with the women playing

I have us beating Tennessee...but I'm a bit of a homer.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

I shudder to think of the donkeypunch we'll take at the hands of the Lady Volunteers. But hey getting to play them in the tourney is a treat in and of itself.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Getting to play Tennessee would mean we beat Neuter Dame and then either beat Oklahoma or an Illinois State team that is good enough to upset Oklahoma. If we get pounded by Tennessee, it means we had the best NCAA tournament in SMU history (we've made the second round, never the third) and that would cap off the best season in SMU history. I think the sting of a loss to Tennessee would be pretty minimal in that case.
GO MUSTANGS!

Hoofprint,
My sentiments exactly. I just hope that if we do make it the Sweet 16 and play Tennessee that they don't just completely run us out of the building. But beating Notre Dame and Oklahoma would be oh so nice.

If we beat Notre Dame (I mean NEUTER Dame) and OU, I'd like to be Coach Rompola's agent.

I don't think Romp would be going anywhere. She probably would get a pay bump, but I doubt she would go anywhere.
I have Ill. beating OU, and us beating Ill., and Tenn winning the bracket. We'll see how that goes. My picks are always goofy

Let's just worry about the Irish first.

You do know, don't you, that it's Illinois STATE - the Redbirds - not the Illinois Fighting Illini, right?
