You should know, you're the coach.

Coaches can't believe in predestination, it's makes their job obsolete!

Scott Sutton to TCU scares me...

that the Golden Eagles' coach could have strong interest

in the Texas Christian job if it opened".

Personally, if he comes great. And if Doherty gets this thing moving in the direction we think it will go, then the rivalry in hoops will come back. I think Scott does a great job at Oral Roberts, and this is probably the time for him to move.

If TCU makes a move, they better be swift. But if I'm Sutton, he already knows there's going to be a market. LSU is open. Missouri State is open. South Carolina is open. Xavier could open if Sean Miller moves like many people think he will. and others will open during and after the tournament because other coaches like him will be pursued.

That said, I want to see the days of SMU and TCU battle for the same kids and try and keep them here. I want to see DI basketball in DFW be relevant again.

We can enjoy other rivalries. I like it when TCU fails.
dont be surprised if they look at nolan richardson.

what if they try to lure bobby knight? he said he wasnt done and has a good rep in texas with recruits
Arkansas State was in serious negotiations with Richardson, but he apparently was asking for too much. They hired former LSU coach John Brady, today.

I disagree. I want them to be good; I just want us to be better.

Wow, that is quite a step down. From the Final Four and SEC to Ark State..

According to the FWST, they have met with Scott Sutton and Buzz Peterson. Their goal is to find a head coach with experience. They apparently don't want to find another top assistant from a top-flight program.

Just passing this along.
