Man I love to hear these glowing reports on Logan Turner. His dad was my high school coach out in rural East Texas (Lone Oak, population 492!) for the 2A Lone Oak Buffaloes. Let me tell you Coach Turner is a hell of a football coach. My junior year we had the highest ranked offense and defense in the DFW area for 3A schools and below. We ended up losing in overtime to eventual state runner-up Mart and current UT wide receiver Quan Cosby. Logan was our ball boy! Man does that make me feel old. Anyway, Logan's a good kid from a good football family. Keep it up Logan!
Back off Warchild seriously.

Whatever happened to biggin by the way? Remember when Stallion was rallying to his defense saying that he actually had credibility? Oh if only he would continue to post.

i think when coach june jones landed in dallas, the three wisemen tried to pull a pact suicide. biggin was successful- bigdaddy is on hold with the suicide hotline- and stallion loves himself too much to do the dirty deed........

He's just checking to see if Tenuta is going to get his second interview here.

Serge looks like he is in better shape than last season, he seems to have more endurance, a step quicker. Hudman better get his act together in the classroom and on the field. Because Tyler Jones continues to improve and......his current backup DeVon Bailey, has lost body fat, and looks tons better physically than last season. Bryan McCann looks like he is ready to make the next step. The great Frank Gansz praised Bryan for his kick return ability. This kid can fly! Rock Dennis is going to have a really good year, young man is faaaast! If Adrian Dizer can stay healthy, and put on a little more weight, he could be an interesting addition at DE and special teams. He is one heck of an athlete. Justin Smart must be living in the weight room, he walked by me, and he looked like a Bordano clone.....now if can only play like........
Offensive thought........ I really like Chis Butler....... knew I liked him at the end of last season, when he FOUND a way to get in the endzone from the freakin' 1 yard line! Look out for Andrew Mckinney. Sanders should explode in this offense. Aldrick Robinson is going to be a player. Bradley Haynes has a lot of physical talent, let's see if he can put it all together. Patrick Fleming is working at the same spot with Haynes, Pat has good hands and size, 6'4 229. Interesting kid, I'm just not sure if he will be quick or fast enough for the postition. He's working his tail off though. Josh Bryant is another interesting kid. He wears #23 in practice, and plays slot receiver. Fair hands, and strong, fast, and quick, to go along with his 5'8 176 frame. He is also a cousin of Sanders. Terrance Wilkerson has been moved from QB, to slot receiver.
Practice begins at 4:00pm, and Frank Gansz has the first 45 minutes of each practice. He wears a miked-up headset, with speakers set up on stands. There is waaaaay to much to say about this segment. You have to see it in person, to understand it. Whatever SMU pays Frank, it's not enough. This guy is unbelievable, iv'e never seen anything like this. If I think of anything else noteworthy, i'll add it in.
Stopped by on Wednesday afternoon for 10-15 minutes...had my boys and wife with me. We were up in Dallas for a mini-vacation and Dr's appt for my little guy.
My wife commented on Gansz...she told me that she would want our boys to play for guys like them. Upbeat...positive..."better than yesterday and will be even better tomorrow"..."that's gameday, baby".... The guys looked intense. They looked like they were having some fun, too. Lots of simple repetition. My oldest son (10) remarked that he saw Justin Smart. He thought that was cool. All in all...was a great 15 minutes or so. Glad we did it.

Never saw one of Bennett's practices, but from what I saw on gameday I didn't get the impression that they did much in the way of simple repetition of correct techniques.
