I don't think you can auto-deposit part of a welfare check in that manner.

One of the things that is keeping SMU where it is in the rankings is the alarming low percentage of alumni that donate to SMU. While the alumni that donate do so in large amounts, the number that do is low.

The US News and World Report's formula for college rankings include the percentage of alumni that donate as a criteria.

If we win, we will have more alumni donate and that improve our US News rankings.

Maybe I missed it, but what is SMU's percentage?

I hear it's less than 20%. Don't know if that's true, though.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

I guess I'm rather proud then that I give to both Cox & the Mustang Club annually.

But I did give my LAST donation to Eng last year when I heard about their discriminatory practices of recruiting.

Why would you give to England anyway? And who do they discriminate against - the Irish?

Good off season discussion.

Winning football program is undoubtedly good for SMU's academic standing. Something Pig PYE and his cronies never understood as apps continued to precipitously decline in the late 80's/early 90's.

Another name for this is the Flutie Effect (Name based on Boston College's rise in applicants after the famous hail mary pass that essentially won flutie the heisman), which is a very popular topic in the field of sportometrics.
