The difference between big time college football and our mid-level game is UT having to worry about whether their star players will turn pro before finishing their college careers. We complain because our QB's transfers to Div. 1-AA schools to get more playing time and a chance at the pros. :hmm:

Why would Benson leave early? He's probably getting paid more to play in Austin than he would in the NFL. Oh, I'm not trying to say UT is paying him. He gets paid by the Los Angeles Dodgers to "play baseball."

did you all see that he called himself a sure First Rounder if he comes out-Boy is he in for a rude awakening-although I'll admit he was much better late in the year. RBs like he played early in the year are a dime a dozen.

We'll be back on the college football map if one of our current stable of running backs can create this kind of "problem" for SMU about 3 yrs from now. Wouldn't that be nice?
