Per DMN. Jones says "Willis has shown positive signs toward earning his way back on team, including attending study hall while the team is practicing. ''I would anticipate he'll be accountable and be back" Jones said.

Not surprised. I know what I wrote earlier expressing diappointment in his choices when he was first given the gate. I just hope that when he comes back that he has been cured of his case of knuckleheaditis.

I'm not judging, but don't you think you should at least wait until 10 a.m.?

Taking football away from a kid who so clearly loves the game must be the ultimate wake-up call. I wouldn't be surprised if he's right back in the rotation - maybe even the starter - in August.
Whether he ever takes another snap or not, here's to much success for Willis, in football and in the classroom.

from the same post.......
"Defensive lineman Mickey Dollens (shoulder) and receivers La'Cori Johnson (knee) and A'Darius Medford (knee) will require surgery for injuries."
Guessing they will all be ready for next season, anyone know?

Medford could be ready by October at the earliest if he in fact did tear his ACL. Even then he would only be playing at 90%
If it don't make money it don't make sense

Have read, or heard that JJ hates spring practice to begin with because
of injuries to players competing for positions. Maybe that's best
reserved for when it really counts in pre-season practice
Methinks that Justin's dismissal for spring practice is a result of partially
Justin's being absent for a something, or maybe 2, and JJ's disregard for
spring practice, and injuries

No, it was all about missing class, study halls and team meetings. I afraid we did not do the young man any favors by making him the focal point of last years ad campaign. It really is (now) about team not individuals.
