Colt McCoy hasn't beaten the Aggies
Aggies are known for "questionable practices" with farm animals
A pig is a farm animal
Pigs = Pork = Bacon.

No idea where the ships are coming from, but I'd love to have McCoy. From what I hear he's not a huge difference-maker, but an upgrade over Mike Walker at PG. Between Williams, Walker, McCoy & Dubois, I'd be a lot more confident in our ball handling next year
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

I think this offer would be coming from the football team but it seems they're more than maxed out too.
Difference maker is all relative, judging from his offers, he'd be a difference maker for us, not for a Pac 10 team which supposedly gave him offers from what I've read...it sounded like he originally went to Pepperdine because 2 of his good friends were going, not because he didn't have other offers, right?

I can't say as that I knew about his friends role in the Pepperdine commit. What I will say is that interest shown from UVA/Kentucky & Wash St are pretty much all based on his being one of the best still available, as opposed to one of the best. Pretty much the Jai Lucas theory of recruiting. Hold out till Spring, watch your stock rise. That said, as you mentioned its all relative. He'd be a helluva pick-up for us, and his quotes in the Oregon Preps article is encouraging.
He visits UVA soon, though, and their new arena is disgusting. I don't think he gets the chance to play two sports, though.
