In case you aren't able to make the game, we're streaming the game on All-Access. It will also be archived on the site for future viewing. Thanks.

Not much of a game... Are we going to see a contiguous series or just drills all day?

I agree
There were some good things and some things that can improve
This day needs to be handled slightly different.
But it was very good over-all
We are taking "baby steps" and will keep improving.
Here are my random thoughts about operations

great crowd

glad to see concession stands open....good idea

were there tables hawking smu shirts, hats?
I didnt see any, but might have missed them.

really great showing of recruits

providing recruits/parents with a meal in south
endzone to show off stadium excellent idea

June addressed the crowd at the end, but many
had already left, he needs to greet at start and at end
so everybody gets to hear him. he could welcome
everyone to smu ford stadium.

maybe have an Eric Dickerson down on the sidelines
watching and glad handing the recruits watching?
maybe coach doh too? those kids would go home
and tell people "i met the SMU basketball coach today
and he was really nice
", ect....

the drills went on way to long and many
left before the game setting started

this day should mainly be about showcasing
the program to recruits, fans, media, and primarily
be about game type settings instead of endless drills

south endzone grassy knoll looks like hell
hopefully it will be as lush as the practice field
by the first home game

sometimes the PA system is way too loud
crank it down about 3 notches

the video shown on the big screen was pretty cool

the BBQ lunch provided was very tasty

it's obvious the Mob Boss has hired a real coaching staff

i wonder if Justin Willis was secretly watching from
some perch today?

over-all a great day at smu

thanks team orsini!

Jones addressed the Junior Day recruits earlier in the day. I was there to listen to him and some of the other coaches and a faculty leader. I think they were probably talked out and I am sure they cared first about the recruits, second about the game and third about us, and that's ok with me. I enjoyed the day. Now when there is an opposing team on the field, I want a little more action.
