Interesting note from the Dallas Morning News

"In the 7-on-7 drills, Bryan McCann threw two interceptions, one to Rock Dennis and one to Derrius Bell."

Really? I must not have paid enough attention. I don't recall McCann throwing a single pass.

Of course, in their Red/Blue photo gallery, they also identified Josh Bryant as Chris Castro. They wear the same number (23), but there are certain ethnic differences the paper didn't bother to check.

I believe he's Puerto Rican but I may be mistaken.

And Bryant has 32 on his helmet.

If they'd said punter Thomas Morstead was working in at quarterback during drills they would have been correct.

No, they wouldn't. No. 15 RED was Morstead. No. 15 BLUE was walk-on QB Ross Hill.

There were several players identified on the rosters they handed out as having a number different from what they'll wear in the fall. De'Von Bailey practiced this spring in 3, but will wear 2 during the season. Jordan Johnson wore 47 this spring, but will resume wearing his 49 in the fall. I think Bryant is another who is wearing a number different from what he'll wear in the fall - there might have been one more on there, too.
