Just a random observation: Does Bill Self really think we don't know he colors his hair? The guys makes a million four and he can't afford some decent hair coloring?

Should be an interesting week. CBS' Seth Davis says no. KU re-ups to $2-plus. And when that happens, they go after Billy Gillespie. Billy hasn't signed his contract at Kentucky.

Yes it will be interesting to see what happens within the month about the OSU job. Maybe Kentucky will use that unsigned contract to their advantage and allow Billy to leave.

Also, i was listening to the game on ESPN radio and at halftime their was an interview done with former KU coach Larry Brown. Brown was asked if he would get back into the coaching grind and he said he would love to. the question was mainly directed about being a college coach and Brown said he wouldnt mind coming back to the college level.

nothing would be better for KU if Larry Brown came back to coach them if Self takes that so called $6 million signing bonus.

No way he leaves Kansas for OSU - NBA, maybe........ He does what smart guys do, he has his agent leverage OSU into a huge increase in his package at KU.....................

There is speculation out there that he might be interested if the Sonics leave Seattle for Oklahoma City.

that might be true but there is no Billionaire tycoon at KU like Pickens at OSU.

at best KU can give him a 1.5-2 Million raise but they cant pony up what Boone has to offer

Boone could have his office upgraded to include a steam shower that pours the black gold directly into his bank account. $110/bbl seems low. $5 gas, anyone?
