Please folks, let's call it the way it is..... the fact that 15-16 freshman may not redshirt is HORRIFIC NEWS, particularly with regard to OL and DL. An 18 year old freshman is simply NOT READY to go toe-to-toe with 23 year old seniors, as a general rule. I am hoping the upper classmen put a whopping on the plebes when they get to two-a-days. Glad they're all coming, but I would hope that MOST would redshirt, get strong, get academically acclimated to University life, get strong, and get strong..... oh, and did I mention get strong - 300lbs in high school is a very different makeup than 300 lbs as a college senior.

As far as having linemen play immediately, I wouldn't be overly concerned with that. We have enough OL that I think we'll avoid burning unnecessary redshirts in that category. On DL, you never know. Someone like Huahulu could turn out to be too much of a disruptive DT not to unleash him early. For the most part, I think the skill position guys are the only ones who will truly challenge for immediate time. Either way, trust JJ and let him do his thing.
Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.
Potential is nothing, performance is everything.
