Tough choiceI had to choose between going to the the SMU-TCU game or the A&M-Miami game. I'm going with SMU-TCU. Don't let me down JJ. Yeah you may be the coolest dude in Dallas but dude you have to win this game.
Well here's a dilema. My newphew in Fort Worth is getting married that day and his future wife is a TCU graduate. I told them they should get married at half time so that the whole family can attend the game. What's a Mustang to do?
Mrs. H
My sister is getting married during the home opener.
Guess where I'll be.... FORD STADIUM Sir, shooting-star, sir.
Frosh 2005 (TEN YEARS AGO!?!) The original Heavy Metal.
Let's hope that the Tulsa game gets moved to either Thursday night or it is a Saturday night game. We do not want to go head to head with the Texas/OU game. In the past we have always played on the road on this weekend.
As much as i wanted to go to new orleans and see tulane im glad it got moved to thursday so i wouldnt have to be faced with the dilema of smu vs tulane or auburn vs tennessee
This is why our wedding was in April. We couldn't handle a potential conflict with a football game. Wow, that looks really sad when I write it out.
Is the wedding at the same time as the game? If they are getting married at Robert Carr chapel or anywhere near downtown, it only takes 45 minutes to get to Ford Stadium. ![]()
1. Scold your nephew for marrying a Frog. 2. Promise him a lifetime of jokes about marrying a Frog. 3. Send him a toaster or a set of coasters or a gravy boat or something. 4. Tell him you hope the wedding goes well, and request a photo. 5. Inform him that if he ever wants to talk to you during an SMU game, he should buy SMU season tickets.
That's okay. You can go to her next one. Pony Up!
You can get married on the Boulevard. I will donate my space.
