Lesson #1

Postby Warbow » Sun Apr 27, 2008 11:03 pm

Please don't truly believe evrything that comes out of JJ's mouth. He means well but sometimes he's only trying to toot his own horn. According to him, Brennan, Bess, RGM and J. Rivers were all sure first day draft picks. Bess was suppose to be the next Andre Rison while Brennan was going to be the next Dan Marino. We currently have the next Eric Dickerson as our third string RB....lol

Yeah... and the bad thing is, he won't eat the crow.

But he can coach, no?

He can tell me anything he wants as long as he brings wins.

Not so much good coaching, more of a good system for college.

I would hate to see JJ's offense with real NFL type talent anywhere in college. Have to admit, his system makes the average look good and the good look great.

Like all good systems, teams catch up to them... aka Georgia. I'm sure the whole CUSA coaches are now studing the sugar bowl tapes.

You've got to be kidding. First SMU is Satan's lair because we stole the greatest coach in the history of the world, and now he's just a hack who lucked into a good system? 03Mustang is right - outrageously sour grapes on the islands. Considering how absolutely irrelevant Hawaii football was before he got there, you'd think they'd be grateful.

Can you cite a source saying that JJ said that all 4 would be sure first day draft picks? I actually try to archive EVERY quote about the Warriors and I cannot remember that ever being said. My archive is actually easy to search through and I cannot find a quote like that.

So Georgia's coaching won the game, not their overwhelming talent advantage? Come on...I could have coached the Dawgs to a victory with that talent advantage.

i think it's hilarious that there are these hawaii guys who keep posting on here about how bad JJ is as a coach. if he was that bad, wouldn't you be happy that he was gone and stop bothering us with your nonsense?

The majority of the Hawaii fans are great and hated to see JJ go. Garrett is a prime example. There are only a few that are sour grapes.

Wow! After decades of Run 'n Shoot being played in all levels of football, for the first time someone has developed a defense against it! Get that Georgia DC to the NFL right now - he's clearly a defensive genius! Revolutionary!
