Dr. Meltzer, Director of the Department of Anthropology at SMU was on the History HD channel this weekend discussing human life at 10,000 BC. He was nice enough to wear a red SMU hat with a blue pony. It made viewing even more enjoyable.
Anyone out there taking any anthro classes from him should tell him thanks for the visual promotion.

Never had this guy, but I did have a class with Freidel. Never met a man more in love with himself, but other than that, great class. Sounds like the whole department might be top notch.

Hopefully they have enough money that they do not have to operate on a "bare bones" budget.
