Interesting note on the JJ contract dispute

There may have been an email from Herman Frazier to June Jones or Leigh Steinberg regarding the $400,000 Jones contends Frazier said he wouldn’t have to pay back to UH if he left early. If that’s the case, Jones may be off the hook.

I remember early on that it was said that Frazier told him he would not have to worry about the buy out. Question is, how much water does that hold now that Frazier is no longer there and there was nothing to my knowledge formally done to establish that? Did Frazier have the authority to make that decision?

Maybe JJ can sue Frazier for 400,101.98 if Frazier didn't have authority,
and isn't considered an agent for UH :!:

Get it in writing.

Herman had authority and apparent authority to bind UH.

If there's such an email, it certainly changes the analysis. Maybe Jones does have an out.

The whole situation reeks of sour grapes to me. Face it Hawaii. You didn't provide JJ the necessary tools and upgrades to the program to keep him. Don't get bitter in the aftermath. Have a little class and let the man go after all he did for your program.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Where do you come up with this stuff? I like it; don't get me wrong. But do you have a "Witicism's for Dummies" book, or does this stuff come from your head?

Hes obviously a Samurai. Didn't you know that ninjas have ancient wisdom unknown to those outside the Orient?

Wit does not imply wisdom; it implies intelligence, a sense of humor, and the possibility of a "dummies" guide. And any goober can toss a throwing star or carry a smoke bomb. It doesn't make him a ninja. It just makes him better equiped.
