I want to play Trinity to see them run that 28-lateral play again in person. If we tackle like we did last year, chances are they could get away with it.

Southwest Texas State changed its name to Texas State University-San Marcos several years ago with the intent of moving up to Div. 1-A FBS from Div. 1-FCS (formerly Div. 1-AA). The Bobkitties have high hopes. :roll:

Coach Jones has mentioned, prior to his arrival, the SMU schedule was already set for the next five years. At Hawaii they played a nonconference schedule with the likes of USC and Alabama. I'm sure when he has an opportunity for input he will make changes to who we tune up with prior to conference play.
I believe I read somewhere we also travel in 2009 to Missouri for a nonconference game.

We're playing SFA, because of a scheduling mishap from the previous regime. We would have had only five home games in 2009, if this move wasn't made.
