This is the kind of signing I think we all envisioned when Doherty was brought here. The debate over his on-court decision making aside, Doherty is universally regarded as a top notch recruiter. We saw some maturity from the big freshman class this year and it apperas Dia is going to be a very good player for us going forward. However, there wasn't a guard on the roster who was any threat whatsoever of driving to the basket. It appears we might have a few guys now that can do that in Williams and McCoy (also Dubois). What kind of record can we realistically expect going into next season with these additions?
