Just watch the Georgia tape: it's easy to defend once you study it for an offseason.
Oh I beg to differ... the reason Georgia dominated was because their line, offensive and defensive, were superior athletes to Hawaii. You say it is easy to defend after studying it for one off-season... hmmm... explain the success the offense has sustained, in college and the pros, the past 33 years then.
It's a shame that video of June going through a basic play isn't longer. I have two 6 hour tapes of Mouse Davis covering all aspects of the offense. Trust me, preparing for the R&S isn't easy... because if you do this, the offense will do that, if you do that, the offense will do this. The offense is designed to do the opposite of what the defense does and when it's running smoothly, whatever the defense does is always wrong.
Can the R&S be beat? Sure it can. Just as every offense in the history of football has been beaten. It comes down to execution and talent. But I will guarantee you this; June will be at SMU a number of years... and in that time, there won't be one defense that will figure out this offense. They may play teams with superior talent, but that doesn't mean the plays won't be there.
