Didn't the moderators say it was some part of a rotating ad service?

I'm pretty sure they don't put NIU ads up there intentionally (although if some NIU alum wants to buy an ad, I'd assume they could....)

We get great stories and photos here, and they do this for us without charging us? They can advertise whatever they want, as far as I'm concerned.

Go to KillerFrogs.com right now-there has been the same SMU Ring Tone add very prominent in red and blue at the top and middle of their forum-it has caused 48 angry responses already.

alright, thanks for the tip Stallion.

Two things I noticed at kf.com:

1. Even their "admin" doesn't quite get how IP-generated banner advertising works, as he claims not to know "how they got in the rotation," but he's glad to take our money.

2. The mere mention of Ponies over there causes Peruna to run through their heads, and guaranteed all 48 of them will be singing it in their sleep.
