looks like the AD a Minn is their next target
Joel Maturi...
Read the first sentence:
Maturi graduated from Notre Dame in 1967 and started his career as a coach and administrator in high school sports, culminating in his induction to the Wisconsin Basketball Hall of Fame. Maturi was hired as the AD at Denver in 1996 after serving as associate athletic director at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1987 to 1996, and helped the Denver program transition to Division I from Division II. He was hired at Miami as AD in 1998 and held that post until hired by Minnesota on July 12, 2002

careful the last thing we need is for someone to say "Steve Orsini has ZERO interest in Notre Dame"

That Miami is Miami of Ohio, where his top hire probably is Terry Hoeppner as football coach. At Minnesota, Maturi has hired Tubby Smith in basketball. His football hire: Tim Brewster.

I forgot to mention that he has presided over building a new stadium during his time at Minnesota and began the planning of the new Goggin Ice Center while at Miami. Hockey is a big sport at MU and the new facility is quite nice:

UND might be looking for someone to get some facility improvements done, as the Joyce Center, home to hockey and basketball, is...outdated, to say the least.

I don't know if it makes any difference, but Orsini was at the Rangers game last night for JJ's first pitch.
Missed the pitch, but I saw Orsini walking outside the ballpark on the 3rd base line around 6:50. Didn't get a chance to talk to him
