At this point last year, how many early commits did we have? It seems as though we have much more interest from high caliber players than we did last year.
Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.

Potential is nothing, performance is everything.

I agree that we are getting more interest. I think its a combination of Coach Jones' arrival, the new attidude of the assistant coaches' recruiting efforts, and the excitement over a new era on the Hilltop.

September is getting closer... I am already starting to get amped up about the season. I cant wait to see the 08 Ponies.

You all will hear me screaming, thats for sure.

When you have a coach with cred it makes all the difference in the world. This is unfamiliar territory around here and it's incredibly refreshing-almost shocking!

In my opinion, its a good idea to sign JUCOs on teh OL and DL because they are the power positions and JUCOs are usually ready to go day 1.

Frazier will be a force on the interior of the DLine.

Just think guys..

2009 Defensive Line:

DE: Taylor Thompson
DE: Andrew Ellison
DE: Youri Yenga
DT: Marquis Frazier
DT: Evan Huahulu

Hmm, that just made me smile.

GO PONIES!!

Just add DT Torlan Pittman and DE Kevin Grenier to the depth chart and we are in very good shape.
And Jordan Johnson and Anthony Sowe, who apparently drew raves from Coach Jones, and (DC) Tom Mason and (DL coach) Bert Hill - especially Sowe.

All of that is true.
In Frazier's case, it also doesn't hurt that his girlfriend is already at SMU.

How did you know that?
Seems your screen name is very well deserved.
