I was wondering who might bring that up. I noticed it when I read it, but it doesn't bother me. After hearing Coach Jones speak several times, it's easy to see that the bond these guys built with the Hawaiian people is a little more than just "they work with us and live down the street from us." I've never been to Hawaii, but I bet it's an easy place to fall in love with. If the coaches want to retire there one day, I'm cool with that - I might even ask to go with them. It sounds like their passion for SMU is growing every day, and I'm excited to have them.

Terrific story, and Coach R sounds like a terrific guy.

The more I read about our coaching staff the more I am amazed that this is actually happening at SMU. We have addressed our academic restrictions and gone out and snagged one of the top coaching staff's in the country. This is truly a special time to be interested/involved in SMU football!
