2009 9/5 vs. Stephen F. Austin 9/19 @ Missouri 9/26 @ TCU 10/17 vs. Navy
2010 9/4 @ Texas Tech 9/11 vs. TCU 9/18 vs. Missouri 10/16 @ Navy
2011 9/10 vs. Baylor 10/1 @ TCU TBA @ Texas A&M
2012 9/1 vs. Stephen F. Austin 9/8 vs. TCU TBA @ Baylor TBA vs. Texas A&M
2013 TBA vs. Baylor
2014 TBA @ Baylor
2015 TBA vs. Baylor
2016 TBA @ Baylor
Only changes to 09 schedule would be the Hawaii game, and it would have to be on 12/5 unless they can get the SFA game changed.
Kinda surprised we haven't heard anything from the North Texas stand point. Didn't they say that was one of the team they wanted to play for a while? Guess their feelings changed on that one.

I wonder if TCU will continue past 2012? I can't imagine it not continuing. Such a game costs each school virtually nothing in travel costs and keeps alive a 100 year rivalry.

Wake Forest was one of the series Bennett dropped to add the closer teams we've been playing, like UNT, SHSU, Texas St.

Thanks for the historical insight Couch Em. I didn't realize the SWC had broken up. You mean we're not in the SWC anymore? If the series with TCU doesn't continue, it would be really stupid on the part of all parties involved. JMHO

It makes sense for both TCU and SMU to continue the series. As a previous post noted, virtually zero travel costs and it does garner at least a pulse of interest from people in DFW. If we can get to the level of success that TCU has enjoyed recently, it could be one of the more anticipated non BCS match ups of the year. I have no doubt that we will get there.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Great for recruiting, publicity, and student interest in the program (football is more fun if bragging rights are involved).
And this could turn pretty epic if we get to the win/loss record that TCU enjoys.
We've never lost the tailgate.

That's too bad. Always like to see new teams personally.

Isn't the Texas State deal a home & home? I thought we had to go down there at least once, but didn't see it on the list posted above.

I am willing to bet that the aggies back out of the 2012 game in Dallas since they just signed that deal to play to play Arkansas every year at the Cowboys new stadium.

I agree. I think we all knew they'd back out of it somehow.

Just trying to be an [deleted]. I agree there is no way the series is dropped. Soon it will be a great game. Maybe we can move it to during the fair at the cotton bowl.
