I flew out of Dallas this morning to Nashville.
What a beautiful view of Ford Stadium in our flight path.
I fell asleep and was awakened by turbulence directly over the Liberty bowl.
SMU is going bowling!

Did you ever see Dallas from a DC-9 at night?
Well Dallas is a jewel, oh yeah, Dallas is a beautiful sight.
And Dallas is a jungle but Dallas gives a beautiful light...

Actually yes and I believe it should be Gilmore rather than Gilbert.
I saw no google restrictions and will not apologize for using.

Jack Ingram sings it, too! And he is a Mustang. Anybody that named anyone else might as well have gone to NTSU!!!

I just brought up the lyrics and sang it myself so apparently I can be the answer also.
And although not totally, I am a little surprised that not knowing Jack Ingram as an answer qualifies me as an NTSU grad.
