What QB are we interested in?Being that Chris Frazier is an athlete we really have not offered any Quarterbacks. Does anyone know who we are intrested in the most and have the best chance of getting? Are Drew Hollingshead or Drew Allen possibilities, and are we showing them interest?
Here are some listed by recruiting services.

Re: What QB are we interested in?
Here is a kid I have been hoping TCU would get more interested in, but may be too late (From TexasFootball): Here's where we have to dabble in rumor for a bit -- most of the talk surrounding Mabank QB Kolton Browning seemed to be keyed in on SMU, and with his pedigree as a passer and coach Jones' pedigree as a miracle worker with those types, that seemed to be a good fit. But in the end it was not the Ponies but Louisiana-Monroe that will be retaining his services. Browning, the first Texas commitment to the Warhawks, seems to have an ample number of critics and supporters, but DCTF is behind him all the way: he's got great feet in the pocket when he moves through his progressions, is quick enough to move around when threatened and is an accurate thrower both standing still and on the move -- his 4,000+ total yards and 41 touchdowns are testament to his ability.

something's not adding up on this one. You say you wanted TCU to have more interest, meaning they had some interest...and obviously SMU had interest in...meanwhile he's going out of state to...ULM?? ![]()

I guess since SMU never offered the young man we probably are setting our sites on someone else. "We will play man to man and we will pick you up at the airport." - Larry Brown

Unless they changed the SAT scoring system, this kid is slightly [deleted]. PonyStampede showed an SAT score of 1285 (roughly 50%) and planned to major in business.
This kid might have even had a tough time getting into COX... The sole export of Chuck Norris is pain
I don't think they are including the new writing section which at least in past years is not included in eligibility qualification under NCAA rules. But it does cause confusion especially since the numbers have all changed in recent years. Scroll down on link for confirmation

Most schools don't even look at the writing section but a recent study showed that it was a better predictor of 1st year success than either the verbal or math sections.

I am actually friends with one of his coaches and asked him about Browning about a month ago and he said as of then he didnt have any offers. He said there were a few schools interested but no big time programs as is evident with his commit to ULM.
Have heard Nathan [deleted] and Nick Foles ramblings. Either would be a huge pickup
